This tiny seaside resort is a paradise.

A popular seaside resort well known for its delectable sea cuisine, it is mostly visited by dedicated birder's or surfer's.

Lying just to the north of Velddrif, Elands´ is a popular seaside resort perhaps most famous for the natural wonders of Verlorenvlei situated between Elandsbaai and Redelinghuys. For the young-of-body-and-soul, it is a surfer´s paradise and a bird watchers haven.

Other attractions include flowers when in season, whale and dolphin watching, rock art, caves, wine tasting and outdoor activities.

It is a really small town, with one liquor store and one hotel right above the camp site. The hotel makes really good breakfasts (especially after a sunrise surf). It is a very Afrikaans area, and you may find people who don't speak much English!

It is all round, a cool small town surf spot, with waves that can get 'epic'
