Clanwilliam golf club clanwilliam golf course

The Clanwilliam Golf Course is situated at Clanwilliam, approx. 220km from Cape Town on the N7 route to Namibia. Essentially a parklands course it is a pleasure to play, with lovely views of the Cederberg mountains.

Although there is a shortage of water the fairways are in a reasonable state with a few sand patches. It is a very flat nine hole course with bent grass green but challenging to any golfer specially the stroke 1. The course is tight and well maintained year-round, though the rough can be punishing and it can get very hot in summer.  Par - 3 = 4 Par - 4 = 10 Par - 5 = 4. Visitors are welcome Monday to Sundays - Clubhouse open on Wednesday and Saturday from midday.

Clanwilliam Golf CourseClanwilliam is known for the variety it offers the tourist. As one of the oldest towns in the country it is rich in history and will sastify nature lovers, adventurous, flower viewers, water sportsmen as well as those who just wish to enjoy sightseeing.
