De Hoek Golf Club, PiketbergPiketberg golf club

Piketberg is nestled between rolling wheat fields, vineyards, fruit growing farms, wines and rich fynbos, with the 9-hole golf course located in Church Street.

De Hoek Golf Club opened in 1960. It was originally built for the employees of the adjacent cement factory. The golf course is in good condition and though it is a short layout it is nevertheless a good challenge due to an undulating terrain.

The course has good bent grass greens. The clubhouse incorporates a bar, halfway house and function facilities. Visitors are welcome and caddies are available on request.

The fairways are irrigated and the bent grass greens are a pleasure to putt on year-round.

Directions to the Piketberg Golf Club, is travel from Cape Town, then take the N7 towards Malmesbury /Moorreesburg/Piketburg. Take the Piketburg off-ramp and turn left into Long Street and then turn right into Church Street, where the golf club is located.
